Generally, the cylinder is cast iron or aluminum alloy die-cast, and the material is ordinary cast iron and aluminum alloy.

The cylinder block is the basic structure of the engine and an important part of the engine block group. Between the cylinder head and the oil pan, strictly speaking, this part is called the cylinder block-the crankcase! Because the upper part is one or several cylinders, the lower part is the crankcase supporting the crankshaft! These two parts are usually cast together, and we usually refer to it as the cylinder block.

According to the different installation plane positions of the cylinder block and the oil pan, it can be divided into three forms: general cylinder block, gantry cylinder block and tunnel type cylinder block.
